Default 944 & 951 differences

Hey everybody, I've been searching the archives on the differences between an n/a 944 and a 951 of the same year ('87). I know of the obvious ones like the head, exhaust, intercooler (ect). If you wouldn't mind posting tid bits that I may have missed. I only need what will make the car run, as I know I need to upgrade the brakes, suspension, tranny and a million other things but for now just what will make the car run.

Thanks for looking,

I guess a DME/KLR, intercooler pipes, BOV, and bigger injectors aren't required to turbocharge a Porsche...

That's still the coolest ad, though, and definitely does get the message across that there's much more to a 951 vs. a 944NA than meets the eye. Good going, Don 944 LA!

P.S. The intercooler is in the pic, right above the intake hose on the floor.

The only thing that's a little misleading is the torque tube. I'm pretty sure they were the same for both, but I could be mistaken. . .

They are different, even the turbo and turbo S models are different 9along with axle's and transmissions).

Extra stiff for power.
