Smell Exhaust when A/C comes on ('87 944S)
Hello All, I have a '87 944S, when I turn on the A/C low or high fan speed, I smell a light exhaust odor coming from my vents. Any suggestions on what to look for and or replace. Thx!

is the rubber gasket still in place alon the top lip of the firewall? helps devert engne gasses around heater intake.
is there any signs of exaust leaks at the base of the collector pipe, looks for black carbon markings
or converter fittings
may have oil leaking onto exaust causing smell and getting drawn in.
