New member -- Hello!
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Ginger and I just purchased my first Porsche after being an enthusiastic passenger from a friend on this board, dkheger. We will be working on restoring this car to its original glory. It's a 1986 red 944 and has been the best purchase I've made so far... super fun to drive and I'm really looking forward to getting it in top condition and becoming a skilled driver on and off the track.
I was just curious if anyone knows of a good place to find good door panels for the black interior? Also, the prices of the clocks in the 944 is a little outrageous... any tips on replacements would be useful.
Thanks for the info and I look forward to reading all of the wisdom on the board. I have a lot to learn about Porsche's but am becoming more versed everyday. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
As soon as I get pics posted on my site, I'll post them on here.

Welcome to the boards. Keep an eye open for parting out cars, you can often find what you need there. As an fyi, the 924/944/951/968 board under water coolers gets a LOT more traffic then this one.

Hello, Ginger,
Welcome to the fray!
We do have door panels in good condition. Give us a call at 845-658-9593 to see if we can help.
There are no cheap substitutes for the digital clock. It might be cheaper to buy a new CD player with a clock built in.
