Default cylinders filling up with gas!!!!

the car will NOT start.

tach is moving when I crank the engine... I jumped the fuel pump relay, I am getting power to the coil.

I crank for maybe 8 seconds and then it wont crank anymore. I pull the plugs and ALL of them are soaked with gas (number 3 was almost FULL).

I've cleared out the cylinders and put the plugs back in and it just keeps filling the cylinders with fuel.

Does ANYONE have ANY clue what the hell is giong on. It seems like the injectors are stuck WIDE OPEN.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Colin

I don't know exactly what would be keeping the injectors open so wide but make the post on the main 924/31/44/51/68 forum and someone should be able to help you sort things out.

You have various bad things that are going to be happening with this condition. If you are actually filling up the cylinders with gas the reason the motor stops turning over after a short while is you are hydrolocking. You can't compress gasoline like air. This could ruin your motor by bending rods or cracking the block, etc, though I don't think the starter is nearly powerful enough to do this by itself. But the gasoline will wash the oil off the cylinder walls so you could score them and gas is going to leak down into the crankcase, dilute the oil and maybe score some bearings. This is not a good deal you have going on.

Default FPR blowing fuel out the top

like I said, fuel is coming out the top of the FPR - so I assume that its bad.

Hopefully this was the problem - thanks guys!
