Hi Gents,

I'm living in Marlow (Buckinghamshire, near Berkshire and around 30 minutes west of London) in the UK and need to find a reliable Porsche mechanic quickly.

If anyone can either recommend one or alternatively a good British chatgroup which could do so, that would be great.

Hi Sun King. I work about 15 minutes away from you in Bourne End! I take my Turbo to Tognola Engineering in Datchet (near Windsor). Tel number is 01753 545053. Another alternative, though Ive not yet used him myself, is Ken Tolfree of 911-mobile. He will come to you. Number is 07860 368924. I have only heard good things about him.

I've spoken to Peter Tognola, and seen his place, tends to be full of 911's. But seems to be quite nice, had no experience of him.

Porschechembri in HOunslow did my clutch, a bit rough and ready, but been in the buisness longer than TOgnola.

Northway in Reading, good reputation, long waiting list

I use AFN's (PorscheCentreReading)

all advertise in 911world.

chat groups
TiPEC club has an official e-group, my one is NotJustPOorsche. Both groups friendly and a lot of good advice. My one, allows Off Topic conversation as well, very laid back and friendly atmosphere.

Meetings
I run the Thames Valley region and we meet first Thursday of the month at "The Crooked Billet" in Iver Heath Slough, usuall 44,,28 and the odd 68,24 and 11.
