944 S3 conversion
Hey guys!
Im in the mittle of installing a 968 engine and transmission into my '83 944. I got a great deal on the parts, so I couldent pass this oportunity up.
I was told from the company I bought the parts from that in order to install the new transmission, I need to install a 85 1/2 gas tank. Looking at the two tanks, there seems to be some consiterable differences between them. With the new tank, there are 2 gas lines going into the top of the tank where the fuel quantity transmitter is located. Where do these lines go? They wernt on the old tank......
Thanks....
Jared

You might find the following website helpful www.944s3.com . The website is a complete account of installing a 968 engine in a 944. He referes to the car as the third stage of the 944 hence the 944 S3.
