Default sad sight at mechanics shop

Somebody bought an '89 S2 on ebay from a seller in the midwest, I saw about 5 rust holes in the bottom of the body!, -actual holes you could fit a couple of fingers through. I hope the guy paid a low price...

Hmm, I'll buy his front end for what the car's worth, next to nothing! lol.

I've never seen one with rust holes. I wonder what would cause the undercoating to come off like that. Running over a lot of things? Perhaps just lifting it wrong?
Oh well, too late to save that one, let's split up the good body parts, and everything else that still works.

maybe a large water leak and it rusted from the inside out

I finally figuired it out.
It's for the Fred Flintstone brake upgrade!
It's even better than the big reds, and saves serious weight!
