Default Porsche Classic Radio Install in a 944?

Has anyone done this in their 944?

If so, any advice?

I'm in the process of doing this! Installing an SQR-47 in an '89. There are some harnesses you can buy through ebay, about 50 USD. There is also SW Stereo, http://www.swstereo.com/. A lot of older rennlist posts suggest using their custom wiring harness as they have a lot of experience with the older Blaupunkt stereos. First I would suggest taking a look to see what the current wiring situation looks like, identify the cables, etc. What stereo are your planning to install?

I was referencing the actual “Porsche Classic Radio” with GPS/SAT/BT, etc. P/N 91164529100

If I don’t do that, I’ll go opposite end of the cost spectrum and get the Continental TR7412UB-OR.
