Default 1986 944 NA Serious Battery Drain after Battery & Alternator replacement

I had a dead battery so I replaced it with a new good battery. It kept dying, so I had it tested, and the battery was good, but the Alternator was only delivering 10.5v....I replaced the Alternator, and the place I purchased the alternator, gave me another battery because that's just how cool they are, and it was charging at approx 13.2, and the ammeter finally went above 12. . , and stayed with the lights in and wipers, etc..

I don't know what the issue with this 944 is, but other than the digital clock and possibly the clock in the radio, the battery keeps draining. I start the car and the volts are at 12, and not higher. It struggles to start unless I charge the battery, but then it happens again in a week or 2.
What in the world could be causing this? The ammeter rarely goes above 12

Interesting. I don't have the answer for you as my 84 just started doing the same this past week.

Have the fan(s) been on after you shut it off? My fan switch in the radiator was bad (fans stayed on) and after replacement all was good. Check your grounds also. Make sure the grounds are clean and attached properly.
