Parking lights

Parking lights
So whenever I take the key out of my ignition the parking lights stay on, headlights are off and everything but these lights are staying on. For a sort term fix I've been disconnecting the power lead on the terminal but as it is really cold out I'd prefer not to do this every time I drive the car. Any suggestions?

What year and model car do you have?
If 944/2, when you remove the key from the ignition, the headlight switch is rotated fully counter-clockwise to the OFF [0] position? Do all 4 corner parking lights stay on, or just 2 front/rear driver side or 2 front/rear passenger side?

So I just had this circuit short and melt the 58L, the parking lights can come on when the ignition is off, and the turn signal on (L or R) individually.
The Gray wire at the ignition “P” supplies power to the circuit when in the 0 position, OFF. The wire goes to the the turn signal P and out on poles 58 L
or 58R. And then to the head light switch
I have cut the P wire at the ignition, and have done away with that parking brake light circuit, if you find any Explanation or cause, I would appreciate
your insight.

Method behind the madness...mark your car's location for approaching vehicles by illuminating the parking lamps on the traffic side of the street, vs shoulder side. Make sense?
