Default Sway bar stiffening struts

Has anyone tried these before? It looks like they're supposed to hold the front sway bar in place to make the front end stiffer, since the stock brackets are a little flexible. Could be a great mod for a low price, or it could do absolutely nothing. Just wanted to check if anyone had tried it before I bought some

I have this style installed on my 944 race car. Google for other suppliers, Paragon Racing Porsche, etc. This stiffening bracket triangulates the OEM mounting bracket, absolutely needed for compliant use of stiffer sway bar than OEM or using stiffer front springs
