I just picked up a 1987 Porsche 944. I noticed that the 8 pin flat connector,

The connector in the middle..
for the gauges, in the passenger footwell was missing. I believe this is why I am not getting any tach bounce! I have the connector on the body harness, but it is missing from the engine harness all together. How can I wire in that connector? Any/all info is greatly appreciated!
