Good to know, not just for me, but others. I wouldn't have guessed had you not mentioned it, and then I connected the idea with my understanding of contemporary Japanese values. It makes sense.

Mine's Japanese spec and just about everything is the same as a ROW (rest of world) spec car.
This was the post I was replying to. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, strange. I don't know if that's due to one of Japan's many strange lighting regulations or what. Could be dead light bulbs on the other side or a bad electrical cable that joins the two?

It's fine, no need to apologise! That's a Canadian thing

And in the Canadian theme, I'd like to apologise, hope my correction didn't come across offensively. The whole Japanese thing with European cars can get confusing, not much literature out there especially on 944s.

Congratulations on your S2.

are you pulling the motor yourself or having a shop do the work? I’m curious what a rebuild would cost?

That color combo is fantastic - never seen that blue before. What wheels are you putting on it? Those (Cup 1s?) look fantastic.

Today i repair the left headlight. The fuse of the hight beam was blow out. Every time i changed it was the same result. After searching on rennlist i decided to cut the rubber of the harness.
The brown wire was broken at three place and the white broken near by at one place . Problem resolved and high beam is working and the fuse dont blow out.

Congrats on your purchase. That looks like quite a unique blue. I haven't seen many S2's in that colour. Enjoy the ride!

Driver electric seat repaired today. I changed the 2 switches with new ones and the plastic housing .I also put a missing plastic motor protector. I dont understand why people can endure something that doesn't work !

Well, to be perfectly honest, at least a few of us are still saving money to remove the electric seats and replace them with real sport seats. For my part, I'm trying to save money for a pair of Sparco Ergo racing seats with removable HALO wings. I don't even want electric seats but I suppose I'll keep them just in case I ever want to return the car to stock. There's going to come a time when that won't be practical though, so I'll eventually sell them.

I'll definitely keep the electric seats in my 928 though. I just repaired the switches on it last year.

Welcome to the "More Holes In the Head Club". That's a beautiful color, don't think I've seen it before on a 944. Those Euro side marker lights look great, not to mention that sweet rear Euro bumper. I put a Euro on my S2 Just curious, are all data and warning stickers in Japanese?
