Just crossthreaded my oil pressure relief valve because I used the wrong alignment tool, cracking the housing and messing up the oprv.

Problem is I can't find the housing or the oprv at all.

So I was able to get the oil pressure relief valve to move freely again by taking it apart and replacing the inner o-ring. But regarding the oil cooler housing would it be possible (or a good idea) to replace it with a 5R housing aka the old style housing like this one.

i haven't looked for mine yet but as far as i know all the housings are interchangeable.
the difference related to the various OPRV types was all in the block.

Ok awesome I ordered a 5R housing and will update the forum weather it works or not.
