Stage 8 cv joint locking fasteners question
Hi, what is the model of the stage 8 bolts cv joint locking fasteners ? I have a Porsche 944 S2 I bought the
STG-8324 CV bolts but they are too long or the thickness of the screw after the thread might be too fat and what is causing the bolt not to fit. I bought them off of summit racing.com
These are supposed to be the right bolt but I would like to get them somewhere else. If possible.
https://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Por...LB-085024.html. These bolts say 8mm x 1.25 x 50mm bolts, the bolt I bought has the same measurements but it still doesn't fit.

Should the bolt look like the one in link one or link two?

Lindsey Racing and Ideola's Garage both sell the Stage 8 CV bolts for the 944 series cars, they are the STG-8324 8mm x 1.25 x 50mm.
I installed a set in my 944 turbo two years ago after rebuilding the CV joints and didn't have any trouble installing them and can confirm by the packaging they are the STG-8324.

If they are too long, add a hardened washer to the stack, i had to do this on my 924S when they first came out as the flange thickness on the outer hub was a little different apparently. No harm in doing it as long as its a hardened washer, the locks will still work perfectly and the wheel will be able to spin.
