Default New 944S2 owner

I bought this 1990S2 from a local PCA member a couple months ago. She was the original owner, spec'd the car herself, took euro delivery and kept every receipt and record since day 1. the car had not been started in about 4 years and had been sitting under 2 car covers in her driveway. Picked it up and brought it to the shop (which is a highly regarded shop in our region) which had maintained it since almost the very beginning.

Picture from when I picked it up originally:

On my to-do list are a full brake job and motor mounts, then possibly start on some older parts of the suspension...

I don't usually like blue cars but yours is a real gem.

Does she crank?

Runs very nicely, but the motor mounts are completely shot.

You don't mention mileage, and I'm not interested in spreading paranoia, but you may want to check the camshaft chain tensioner pads. It only takes an lazy hour and it's worth knowing their condition.

Thanks for reminding me of YET ANOTHER project that I need to address. My car shakes like Elvis on cold starts.

Enjoy your wheels.
