Default Oil Pressure Wire Ohms Reading

Trying to troubleshoot my no oil pressure indicated problem. I'm certain I've got oil pressure; just don't have any registered on the gauge.

I disconnected the Blue/White wire from the G terminal and grounded the wire. When I turn the key to ON w/o starting the engine I'm getting a 98.4 ohms reading and the dash gauge pins past the 5. Is this anywhere near correct?

(As for the sender, I had installed a Uro cheapie which is only giving me intermittent resistance readings with the engine running so I went ahead and ordered a OEM replacement.)

Meanwhile, I'm trying to determine that my wiring to the dash is not at fault. Trying to find my way through this maze.

I measured the continuity between the Blue/White wire on the oil pressure sensor and the 14 point connector and I'm getting 2.2 ohms there, so that leg seems OK.

Many thanks in advance.
