Sinkhole Sammy

I am thinking of purchasing the $600 LR 968 MO30 sway bars for my 1989 944. Front bar is 30mm (vs. 21 mm stock) and adjustable 5-hole rear bar is 19mm (not sure of the stock diameter). I do not track my car, but run it exclusively in the Santa Cruz mountain twisties. Just wondering if other folks with these sway bars were happy with the switch for street use? (Mike Lindsey said the even larger MO35's would be overkill and unnecessary.)
