Well, after posting on one of the Facebook groups, and figuring my cold start up of 2 bar wasn't good enough (should be 4 or higher?), I just dove in and pulled apart and took apart my oil pump. This is the only component that I didn't disassemble to clean. It had some sludge in it, so maybe that caused issues? I didn't see any particular wear that stood out to me, but then again I'm a novice in looking at this pump. I did verify that my girdle to block mating surfaces were flush, so that's not an issue. I also verified that the Loctite 574 was evenly spread over the whole pump to block/girdle mating surface. I have pictures of those if needed.
Any thoughts? I could order a good used pump at this point, but if cleaning that sludge would resolve things, I'd like some form of confirmation before I redo everything or buy something that's not needed.
