Anyone converted air flow meter to MAF
There is a company in Germany that makes an MAF to replace the stock arm. I guess the barn door and spring in the factory model can be limiting. I think its worth a few more HP but I'm wondering about if the car will run ok. The company is called DME Shop 24, and they claim their MAF simply converts the signal so the stock ECU reads with no problem. Has anyone tried this product and can give me a review.

I'm running an older (maybe 7years?) Promax/Scivision MAF kit. Car runs fine, but there are limitations. Kit came with a signal modifier and new chip for the DME. Can't easily fine tune up like the Rouge tuning kit or VEMS. I'll probably convert to a new system soon.
On the plus side, it did improve performance. Not a significant HP bump, but better driveability

Three Wheelin'
Look up Pro-Flo, I believe they made the MAF for the Authority Tune back in the day. I called them Direct and Purchased one that was a drop in for the Bosch unit, It came with a little box that adjusted Idle mixture and Mixture on Throttle, "VANE" was the calibration on it. No Chips were needed. I found Them at the Performance Industry Racing Show in Indiana... Might be worth a call? As I recall it was 350 bucks..
