Post Huntley Racing Supercharger is Powerfull!!

The entry level Stage I 944 S2 kit at only 5 PSI of boost makes a tremendous 280 HP and 250 TQ at the wheels!! This is 336 HP and 300 TQ at the crank!! That is well over the 100 HP improvment we were shooting for! This is far greater than we had predicted but a welcome surprise! The very low boost assures a tremendous amount of reliability and longetivity. The system is completly 'plug and play', no customer tuning required. The kit includes not only the supercharger system but the additional conversion to MAP sensing injection which is the ultimate for low restriction induction. The Stage II results will be out next week but will easily top 300 HP at the wheels. The efficiency of these systems is evident with the percentage of gain at such low boost levels. All of this performance has no dowsides. You don't have to kill the resale value of your car by having to remove the A/C or any other onboard system to run our kits! The car is not permanantly modified in any way! The 968 and 944 S kits will be done very soon! The 944 N/A will follow. Anyone who wants the chart before it hits our website may e-mail me for a copy.

When do you think you will build a stage II for NA 944s, because I have an '83. What is the maximum boost level you can set it at and still be very reliable? How much does a supercharger cost and how long does it take to install?

As Spencer already stated, the company went out of business long ago. If you look at the original post, it's from 7 years ago.

i live in the other side of the world, unfortunatedly and not familiar with the actual persons behind the alias.

Its not the join date, "01-06-2002, 12:53 PM" really was the post date and as krazykarl said, Huntley racing went out of business years ago.

Today, SFR does superchargers for the 944. See http://www.speedforceracing.net/prod...erchargers.php

Karl.

thanks for clearing that up.
what a pity, they went out of business, could make somthing alternative for 968 power enchancement
than what is available today.

the SFR kit looks nice and power wise fits the bill.

I suppose you have not been around long time. The end of Huntley business was not that nice. Lot's of people lost their money. Also all of Huntley products were not so good, for example 951 chip sets were not any rocket science.

I have a buddy in Alberta that has built a custom supercharger setup for his 944. I believe it puts out 369RWHP at 15lbs of boost. The downside to his system is that he needed stand alone mgmt as the stock setup only allowed 5lbs of boost. That was a fairly expensive project but the car is scary fast! He may actually produce a kit later this year. I could inquire.

i have a hard time believing 369RWHP at 15lbs, that would be about 430 at the crank. that would require an insane amount of tuning, a huge centrifugal sc, and super-hi fuel. maybe a 2.7 or 3.0L car could pull it off but i dont think a 2.5 with 9.5;1 cr.

Derrek Huntley's account needs to be banned! It's not like he will ever show his face anywhere around here again...if he does I have a monkey waiting for him in the trunk with a tire iron. He still owes me a couple turbos that I assume I will never see.

I believe I have the last remaining Huntley supercharger kit sitting in my office in the box bleu sent it to me in. Have had some HUGE medical bills and haven't had a chance to install it since I bought it off him last year. But everything should be clearing up by next summer and I'll run the plumbing for the intercooler I bought.

I have 944 NA 2.5. I have a TurboS engine with 8,0:1 CR, too. Also an Eaton M90 supercharger. Into which engine should it go?
