Buying 944 with proble. Advice please?
hi. I am considering buying a 87 Porsche 944 automatic but have been told it has tStrek
been run for several years and is running lumpy and won't go over 3000Strek
revs. Do you gave any ideas what the potential problems could be,Strek
please?
I used to have an 85 manual shift stick about 18 years ago a d want to relive my youth.

Hello, I would bypass an auto trans car especially if it has problems already. It would be costly to repair. The dampener if it goes out is like $1200 plus labor to replace. I'm 70 and have no problems with my manual stick shifting. If I was only driving in city traffic I might think about an auto trans. I don't know what tStrek means. I'd call a Dealer and ask about that term.
