Default Hello there

Hey all, just wanted to say Hi... I am driving a 1985.5/944 currently, and the guy who sold it to me(my dad's co-worker) recommended this site for helpful info.
The car is currently running well, I have a few small things to do... for example the battery's strap-down is broke and the plate is missing, so I need to figure something out for that... (bungie? ...)
It has just under 115k miles, I'm guessing I should replace the timing belt ASAP... Anyways, I'm sure I'll be back with questions... :P

Nice looking car, never seen one with blue like that before. You may want to post questions in the other 944 section, this one doesn't get much attention. Take a look under the Water Cooled-924/44/68 section.

Timing belt is a definite if you're not sure when it was last done, 30000 miles is standard interval (if i remember correctly).

Hi and welcome aboard. Another forum is 944online.com and pelican parts.com. You will get a lot of help searching out problems and how to on clarks-garage.com. Clarks is the best place start reading up on the 944. I am the Grandpa on here 69 and going strong. You young people are what keeps us young, at heart. LOL
