Early offset 944 better fitment in the back
Hi,
I really dont like the current fitment of the wheels of my 944 83 (early offset). I want them to be further out and more flush with the fenders to get a more wider look. After doing some research on here, my only valid option is converting everything to late offset or get big spacers (not sure what the german TÜV would think about 40mm spacers in the back haha). . I was wondering if someone has achieved nicer / more flush fitment on an early 944 without doing the whole conversion step and might be able to share how he/she did it. Maybe some pictures would be nice too.👍🏻

Yup, 25mm in addition to the factory 21mm spacer. No issues on my 1983 car. Currently have 8 inch wide wheels with 15ET and 225's and I get very occasional tire rub on huge bumps, but just on the passenger side. I haven't gone to smaller spacers yet because my wheel setup will change fairly soon.

Looks better now, the car has been lowered 1.5" all around since these pictures were taken.
