2017 Wilbraham Tech Session and VCSSA Hillclimb event July 8, 2017 - UPDATE

My not-928 and I will attend
My wife (Bonnie) and I will be there in that which replaced my late lamented ever-so-slightly-enhanced 928 S4 stick (totaled when rear-ended by a speeding drunk while I was turning into my driveway five years ago).
For those to whom I've not already confessed my heresy, the current car is a 2003 996 Ruf Rturbo. It was born a stock Turbo X50, then gifted by a prior owner with the full Ruf package (engine, suspension, aero, short shifter, wheels and tires).
I'll follow up with pics once I discover how to convince this forum to accept then (when attempting to upload some JPEGs, I keep getting an error message saying files must have .jpg, .gif, or .png extension).
See you-all there!
PS: Bonnie's up for supporting or forming a Ladies' Auxiliary at the hillclimb.

Pics of and info on my not-928
Upload problem solved by using Firefox instead of IE.
This is an ‘03 911 Turbo on which the previous owners spent about $200k on the following:
- Factory options include:
o Lovely Slate Grey Metallic paint
o The X50 power pack
o Carbon ceramic brakes (PCCB)
o Sport seats
o Full leather (in Boxster Red) and carbon fiber interior
o HID headlights
o Drop-sensing wipers
o Sunroof
- Prior owners added:
o Ruf Rturbo 550 engine mods (new turbos, lots of plumbing, resulting in ca. 575 bhp, with MUCH more immediate throttle response than stock)
o Ruf suspension mods (Bilstein PSS9 coilovers plus Ruf rear swaybar and a little lowering; MUCH crisper handling than any stock Turbo I've driven)
o Ruf short-shift kit
o GT2 bumper cover (love that little grille on top!) and rear wing (better looking than stock and no 75-mph popup to alert the authorities)
o Kinesis K19 18-inch forged wheels in chrome finish and GT2 widths
o Michelin PS2 tires in GT2 widths (235/40-18 f, 315/30-18 r, all N4 spec)
o Discreet side and rear window tinting

Tass, I may bring my father along this year if that's ok. I've talked about your gtg's for so long with him I figured I could just bring him along? I do owe my mechanical obsession and ability to him after all....

That would be great ! My Dad has been to everyone of these events so far and I'm sure he won't miss this one. (Cuz if he did I'd probably have to man the grill by my ownself )

We tend to have our own event within the hill climb event but it is worth the effort to hop on the shuttle from the field and take a ride down to main street and the starting line.
They have a couple more show car fields down there and some of these vintage racer guys bring some very nice cars to show.
I few pics from the last event:

Also,
Palmer Motorsports Park (15 min.) is running bikes that weekend if you want something else to watch.
