I immediately gassed the car back out to the road to get some airflow under the car.
Since I did not know if the cut grass could have been getting raked by the belly pan,
It was too hi to look under the car while in the grass.

Yes it was a scare
That was a really tense moment for sure ....... not something I would care to repeat. Especially considering the condition and rarity of your car !

Sorry guys, I'm slacking on thread maintenance here

The event is shaping up pretty well and I have a couple local Porsche restorers that have committed to attending. I'm hitting my email list right now so its going to get busy for a bit.

Peek-a-boo.

Still around, thanks for the email heads up Dave! My Jetta project has taken priority and the 928 has some.....er.....issues and has taken a backburner.

I'll still be there. If it's ok, I'd like to bring alone my 911 friend that was with me at the last one.

It's a "race car" in street clothes. It's got all sorts of brake suspension upgrades and a really hot cammed, high-compression 2-liter 8-Valve with 45mm ITB's that I built almost a decade ago.

It's my first love. It's really doesn't belong on the street, but if Deckman has his way, it'll probably see track time.

Nothing like having another expensive hobby

The coupe would be a fun setup for Palmer being light and with a good power weight ratio.

Is there a hotel of choice for this event? The wife and I are thinking of making a weekend of it.

Depends on how close to the event you want to be, and what you want to be doing and where for the rest of the weekend. There's lots of places around. Really depends on what you're into...

This holiday in in Ludlow is probably the closest chain... it's about 15 mins from the house.

The surrounding area has a lot of interesting things to see and do so you might want to stay a bit further out and check out surrounding towns. Northampton is pretty cool, Springfield has the basketball hall of fame and some other nice attractions.

Thank you.
Anyone else staying? If so where?
Don't make me find another incredible place to lodge by ourselves while everyone else stays in the Michael Meyers Lodge

I don't know if my Shark will be ready, but I'm going to try to make it. I can still hang out if I'm in the Boxster, right?
