Default Refitting the Pod ?

I recently had my dash pod out for some remedial work, all seemed to go well, (if there's ever such a thing with the Pod) ... just noticed after a couple of days that the ignition switch is not sitting centrally in the Pod hole.

Has anyone ever encountered this, is there anything that can be slackened without removing the pod again so that I can get the ign/switch to line up, seem's to me at least., there's always some issue when you take the pod out. !

Loosen the two mounts and shimmy it into position and retighten. The mount closest to the ignition has some side to side adjustment due to the articulated mount.

That side is a two part mount and the lower part needs to be correctly mounted (turned) to the top, it's a good idea to mark it before removing it so it can be put back the way it came out.
You may need to turn that part a little for a better fit.

Thank's, for the tips much appreciated, I never removed the whole pod just the steering wheel/ lower dash trim/ and column switches and slackened the two long and short bolts, just enough for bulb access which fortunately it was.., so the orientation of the short bolt and mount should not have moved, or am I wrong on that ? .

It should not have moved unless it was left loose by someone else that had gone in there before

Make sure no wires are blocking the pod from correctly seating, the ignition switch should be centered and slightly protruding from the hole, the rubber surround should go on easy

Thank's, I was in there five years ago to fit a new odo gear from Roger, but it went back without issue, just me disturbing it resulted in a bad-ish fit this time, the rubber bezel went on ok, although tight at the bottom, I have just loosened the long and short bolt and seem to have made it a little better fit but not totally centric, Is there any other bolts I should slacken,?. I had to push and hold the outer binnacle and tighten the two bolts at the same time.., maybe I need to slacken the two bolts a bit more to get some more movement ?

I realise in the grand scheme of thing;s that this is a rather trivial matter, and that other members have much more serious problem's, I thank you for bearing with me .

Yes those are the ones, they go through the rubber bushings and hold the pod to the steering column cross arm.
