Don, it's much easier with a lift. I couldn't imagine doing the swap without one! I didn't pull my torque tube, plus the lift, I have a three stage transmission jack. Followed Dean Fuller's videos, take you're time, don't break anything. It's not that hard with the proper tools.

I have a lift, and a new HF transmission jack. I've seen Dean's video, but need to watch it again. Thanks for the tips.
