So... you're suggesting that you think the factory went to the doubled-up gaskets because the quality of the weird red o-ring-like gaskets was poor?

Well, I got the non-powder coated water bridge installed this weekend and it seems to be leak free so far. Thanks to all for the help. Now to get 1k or so miles on so I can set cam timing and get the last minor adjustments (throttle quadrant, etc.) done. Looking forward to a great summer on the mountain roads.

Mike
