Old parts doomed to fail.
Waiting serenely for UPS.
Depart Cerritos...

Zero dark thirty.
Eating miles since before dawn,
Yesterday - still fresh.

Second day rolling.
Still ready to get on down
The road. Love This Car!

What's that sound I hear?
Water / Power Steering Pump?
Time to Burn Dollars

A new job to do
They say this one is easy
But I'm not Bill Ball

Solvents cover my face.
She glares at me as I enter.
Delete the receipts...

Maybe a sensor
Will refresh this while in there
Empty engine bay

Blistered rubber, skilful madmen
Overload, silence

Beckons. Shark - on land
Sport? Touring? Just big bad ass
Drive hard - repair - drive

Cascade road opens
Snow five to seven they say
Warm fire, home we stay

Nine two eight rumble
Rev it up to go faster
foot to floor and smile

Control pressure
System pressure
one pump or two?
warm up curve
delivery volume
Who among us knew?
spray pattern
plunger action
return going through?
tank strainer
accumulator
What the hell do I do?

With the help of Alan, Merlin, Dwayne, Doc and others
We have become a group of commiserating long-distance brothers

Otherwise torturing ourselves, almost weeping and crying
Calls to Roger and Mark for more parts buying

Greg, Cap’n Carl and Porken bicker and we look to
see who’s feelings get hurt more-quicker

Kilbort’s postings are almost always beyond belief
but certainly creates the much needed comic relief

Like junkies on a buzz we visit Rennlist all day
hoping for for a tidbit that will show us the way

But It’s all part of this world that keeps us straight
As dedicated owners of our beloved 928

So if this opine qualifies as Haiku, I really don't know
maybe its poetry, or just unsophisticated prose
