Who's got a dealer license?

PSA for those who have never purchased from Copart. Fees will really add up. Doc fee, load fee and buyers fee, all in addition to whatever a broker wants to charge you. Then there is the tow, and any storage if you don't remove within a couple days. I add about 600 onto cheap cars and a 1g onto a 5 to 7k car. Adds up really quick.

You would think that I would be saving them money by offering to buy it back at salvage price that they set.

I get that..but nothing not in the contract is guaranteed.

I can see it as a fraud avoidance move on their part perhaps..dunno..but

Keep the car..save the $8 payout for a bent car...not this..

Then you go to pick up the car and a fork lift driver loading up the car (yes, they pick them up with a fork lift and drop on your trailer) runs the forks through the length of a rare Audi you are picking up. It only needed a fender before, now it needs chassis work. Their response: "Sorry" as they walk away.
