Default Long drive

You know, you never really realize how good this car is until you drive it for 14 hours straight and get out and you're not sore or tired. You also realize what a blessing a supercharger is when you're going through the mountains.

I drove straight through to Vail. Stopped twice for gas and dash.

Hoping to make Spokane this year. No cruise control on my car...

I will bring a brick to put on the throttle instead.

I could not agree more! As much fun as it is to drive my 928 around rural twisties, it really excels on long interstate cruises. It has seen all three coasts since I bought it. I am usually sore after two long days of driving other cars. I feel great after 3 days of driving this car. There is an element of suspense in driving such an old car with such a paucity of knowledgeable mechanics on a long drive, but this board helps to make that manageable.
