I called the guy selling the 5speed 928 on craigslist (in Delta) and the car sounds way too rough. He says it runs but brake booster is not working, car is spray painted and one fender has damage that has body filler, interior is shot and parts are missing and he says transmission has trouble getting into reverse when cold. He says he will sell it for 1500 though which might be a good deal for a parts car. He says the engine runs good.

Hey Colin, my number is 604 992 9555. I usually don't answer my phone when I'm working but you can send me a text and I will call you back if I'm not available.

Strange what happened to all the 928's? There used to be lots of selection around here.

If you are in and around Kits you can come take a look at mine - today only . I am heading back to the Island for a week or so. Give me a text 604-880-1496

I took mine for a drive to UBC the other week. Posted pix of the trip on Ebay

However my neighbour on the Island here up on Sproat Lake has a maintained 87S4. It's a US car that's from Japan first imported by Andy @ Scan Auto. Black on black with a complete re-fin courtesy ICBC, local shop here they did a great job.

T-belt done, all fluids, good brakes etc. It was in dry-storage for a while and I recommissioned the car personally for Dave. The dash/pod have cracks, and the sunroof interior panel was redone with a thick vinyl that sags. Certainly would be in your budget range.

Andy (Haglund) sold Scan Auto a while back and now operates Luftech Motorsport Inc. a few doors from Scan in North Van. 604-983-0014. Smaller scale operation with just him at present.
