I'd like to get in on that as well.
About to subscribe but I have a question. In the subscription page I see $250 subscription but it shows $350 total at the bottom. I assume that is the total including shipping to Australia, which shows as the country in the subscription info?
Is this (001) the first issue , or was there an issue preceding this one? ... I can't seem to see any info giving me a clear answer on that. If there is a preceding issue, can I still get a copy of that?

Yes, it's +$100 for foreign subscriptions (except Canada) due to shipping 3-pound magazines. The real cost to us is actually a bit higher, and we are evaluating another carrier and/or a small increase for new overseas subscribers to cover the actual costs. For now, it's $250 + $100.
There was a "Prototyp" issue, Issue 000, which was a bonus "fifth issue" for early subscribers. That promotion is now over, and I suspect those will pop up at swap meets, eBay, etc. It looks like 000_001 is going to be the rare one, as the print qty was smaller.
Best,
pete

whew; I am lucky I went to Rolex Daytona 24 and reserved through Porsche for the hospitality suite - we got the Prototype 000 issue free in our goodie bags - I will have the full 5 volume year one set!
Anybody want to buy my rights? Taking bids now....

Thanks for recognising that high quality is still sought after ... can't wait

Thanks Pete .... just subscribed. Can you set aside an 001 issue for me too please. I assume each issue is packaged in a stout cardboard box? ... to survive the postal worker drop from a height test

Yup, we went a bit overboard on the box, to give issues their best shot of making it through the postal service. There are pictures of it all over Instagram, but it's basically a pizza box that floats the issue inside...
Easy to recognize—look at what you drive!
I think so. I haven't spread the number of copies left anywhere else but here, as I'd hate 928 people to miss this issue. On the other hand, let me be clear: While my business partner and I both own 928s (his is far nicer than mine...), please go into this knowing that 928 stories will be occasional rather than regular. We have a lot of material to cover, and I feel that understanding other elements of the Porsche story helps me understand the elements that I am most interested in personally. Really cool to see the guys over on Early 911S Registry calling out the 928 article as fascinating, totally unprompted by us. They got it. Those are the kind of readers we are after...people who are interested in the whole Porsche story, and a better perspective on the company from its origins up to today. I hope that's you, too!

The subscription page is laden with javascript. You'll have to turn it on to subscribe on the web. (This is true for almost any site nowadays: they all use APIs cross-loaded from SAS providers...)

Ok. Despite needing to enable cross-site scripting from facebook, viglink, several API services, etc., and needing to enter my sub info twice...
... I'm in. Looking forward to issue 001.
The 'magazine' URL - which doesn't need javascript permission for any site other than 000magazine.com, which didn't work last night - now works on my workstation in Firefox.
