Default Wanted: 928 Car Cover

Looking to buy a used car cover for a 928 with rear spoiler 1987- 1994. I prefer an indoor dust cover but will consider an outdoor cover. Must be fitted. My car is 1991 928 GT but i suspect many 928 fitted covers for cars with post 1987 style spoilers will fit. PM me, call or text to 714-394-2388. I'm in Laguna Beach, Ca.

FWIW I have two car covers designed for early cars and they fit just fine on my S4. They are not the "skin tight" style that looks like spandex, they do hug the corners with mirror pockets.

I need three more

I did pick up one of the $20 Costco covers. Nothing fancy but got the job done in a pinch. They are a generic S/M/L sizes.

Why do you want a used cover? I would expect a used cover to be dirty-enough (where that means not totally, 100% clean) on the inside that it would need washing. Some covers don't wash-up so easy...

Walmart has one in the C size that works for the 928. It's a bit large, but I keep it held on with some spring clamps so it doesn't blow off in the wind. About $26.

Thanks for the input guys.
If anyone has had good luck with a particular brand of a custom fitted indoor cover or if you have had decent results with any of the new OEM Porsche crest branded covers from other Porsche models that fit the 87 and later 928 fairly well, certainly let me know. I suspect the dimensions on some of the other Porsche models may be similar enough where a stretch fabric indoor cover could cross over to a 928 acceptably.

Weathershield HD fits perfectly for my s4. It's pricey but not too pricey for a GT.

I have a Colgan (Covercraft now) flannel cover for indoors, I've had it since 1996 and still excellent shape. Custom sized for the 928 with mirror pockets. Soft inside so no scratches...91 GT

Thanks Hlee96. I placed a couple of bids on your white S4 to help get it moving in value in the last hour. My user name on BaT is PlanC. I was glad to see that the price seemed to eventually reach what I hope you thought was an acceptable level. What had you been hoping for?

Oh yes! I knew that it was you and I really appreciated your input and bids! It was more than I can hope for and very happy.

Another suggestion is to get an indoor-outdoor combo (2 covers). I use the flannel indoor cover on the car, followed by the outdoor cover so it won't scratch the paint. Yes, it is a pain to put on and remove, but it is worth it.
