Been on the phone for a while. Shop I described (Bret Electronics) was bought by Fuel Injection Corp.

http://www.fuelinjectioncorp.com/about.php

Called them no go.

Next referred to:

GB Remanufacturers, Tracy CA, no go.
http://www.gbreman.com/gas_injectors.html

Then:

https://fuelinjectorconnection.com/

From research these injectors were used on the supercharged ford lightning. Green body vs tan body.

Call and speak with Bob, 770-888-1662. Just got off the phone. Told him you would be calling. $44 each. He has 7. Sorry not an 8 pack. I tried. Ask for Bob.

There is a youtube video out there about Chinese injectors and what happens with high impedance ones at the maximum ohms permitted. They skip, stutter and lose consistency in spray patterns. For example, I think there was a guy that ran a test between 12-16 ohms on a high impedence injector. It stopped spraying completely at 16. Below that, it functioned like a normal OE branded injector such as Denso, Motocraft, or Bosch.

Alex I called Bob and bought the 7 injectors. He's going to find me an 8th as well. He said he had the full set a week ago but a friend in need talked him out of one in an emergency situation. These actually came out of his own Lightening pick up. Thanks so much brother. I don't know how you found them but you rock. Many, many, many thanks.

Super, super cool.

Glad it worked out. It took a bit on the phone but no worries. He was looking at some online as I was speaking with him and we were laughing about the chinese junk out there.

Glad you got the right stuff.

The other company fuel injection corp who bought the Bret company is also good if they have something you need in the future...

How did their price compare to what you found, just curious? $44 Didn't seem bad.

I have two of these 558's, new old stock. I bought a set of eight for my 993TT, so these two are the ones not installed from the set of 8.

PM me if interested.

Mongo, I watched that same video. Definitely good info on it.

Jim, thanks. PM sent.

I very much appreciate everyone's help on this one. One of my better experiences in the last couple years on RL. Thank you all.

Those look nice Sean. I've been looking strictly at the 42 lb injectors at the recommendation of several rennlisters, as well as injector vendors. To be honest I never even gave the 38's a thought. Had my blinders. Oh well, still good info. Thanks!
