86.5 Starting Issue, turns over cold start only
When I wake up early morning and go to warm up the car, it turns over fine and the idle stabilizes fine like there is nothing wrong. For the rest of the day, i have to pump the gas and stabilize the idle myself. The only other case is when the car is warm and i turn it off and immediately start it again in which case it starts like nothing is wrong.
I've replaced the ISV and that wasn't the problem, so I figure at this point it is a crank position sensor issue, a vacuum issue, or a fuel pressure regulator or dampener. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers

how many miles, auto or stick, what was the last thing you fixed?
when did it start doing this?
what does pumping the gas do and when do you have to do it?
adding as much detail as you can will give us more info to diagnose your issue

Its been doing this as long as I've owned it and likely for much longer. 5-speed and the last thing I fixed was the power steering lines. When I turn it over, I pump the gas to start the car because it rarely will start without stalling out. I only have to do that at the same time as I turn it over. I've actually pulled the intake off and two vacuum lines are horribly leaking, so that is definitely a contributor if not the entire issue. If not I would guess that the temp 2 sensor or O2 sensor is another contributor.

for your engine to run perfectly you must have all of the these parts fresh.
MAF, mass airflow
CPS, crank position sensor use only Bosch parts for the ignition system.
TPS, throttle position sensor and short harness, NOTE the short harness connectors beak/crumble,
Roger sells new harnesses
ICV, idle control valve this is a wear item
Temp 2 sensor and its connector, the connector wires can be internally shorted.
O2 factory version, oxygen sensor, dont use the universal part
intake rubber collars all of them,
2 fuel dampers center front and driver side rear fuel rails,
FPR, fuel pressure regulator at the right rear fuel rail.
New spark plug wires and plugs
read this thread it sounds like its time for you to do a refresh.
