Please don't flame me, and insights are welcome, but I feel that this is a $30k (+?) car in today's market. Our friend Roger feels it is higher still.
There are a few upgrades on the car, but tasteful additions for which I have all the original parts (other than the wheels and mirrors) should the new owner decide to bring it back completely to 'as sold' configuration. (the Alessio Speedlines are incredibly rare, and bring $2,500 or more these days)

What a stunningly beautiful car. 928s in this condition are very rare and desirable, and this is a 5-speed, so it is that much more rare. I wish I had the cash and space... Good luck with the sale. This car will bring some serious money.

Beautiful car! I hope another enthusiast can carry the torch for this one and care for it as much as you have!
GLWS, and don't sell it short. It's worth a premium!

David E. and I worked together for 9 years at Automobile, with me ascending to Assoc Publisher. We got railroaded by someone he trusted in a palace coup when a poseur (who happened to be 'doing' the then President of the company) took the magazine division's lead position. Total fraud...but the door was opened for the coup. BTW, the President later committed suicide by a gun to the head. You can't make this stuff up....
DED and I were reunited with the launch of Winding Road in '05, the first digital auto enthusiast magazine written by...and for...adults. It was brilliant, but the owner/investor thought he was more brilliant than David and my combined 70 years of experience, and he couldn't help himself but to step-in and impose his signature on the project. We both left, and David passed a few years ago; a tremendous loss as there was no one in the wings to take his place. I attended his 80th b'day party at Zingerman's in Ann Arbor, and it was a hoot. (See photo...recognize these guys??)
David felt that the 928 was the single best high-speed touring car ever built; he was a huge fan and I made big marks with David when I bought this can in 1995.
BTW, I completely overlooked my membership lapsing...thanks for pointing it out. I'm on it....

Yep, I agree with Roger. That original radio is a huge plus. I think you'll find some consensus here that the non-928 collectors that are looking to get into these cars are reading articles and being told to look for 5-speed 87+ cars. Which yours is. But they also are looking for originality, so if you have or can source an original steering wheel and manholes, I believe you'll money ahead in the end. I think there were at least two or three cars this summer over on BaT that were held back because of too much custom stuff. But you got the hardest bit, the radio. It seems like 9 out of every 10 928s for sale doesn't have an original. Anway, that's my .02. Great car!

put it back to stock, keep the pictures with speedlines included with your pictures ,
post it for sale on BaT and you should get about 50k or more ,
in the mean time I would be asking 60K you can always go lower
