Fronts were 7.5x 17 ET 65, Rears were 9x17 ET 55. Both for Cup 1's ('93 and the 1st 17 cars of '94), and Cup 2's.

worth mentioning that they used wheel spacers on the rear to fill the fenders.....and that the 1989 GT used 8 inch fronts and 9 inch rears.....there is a lot of room especially in the rear.

Again - 8" Cup II's are available for the front, et 70. SCARCE, as they were the rear winter wheel for the 911's. Over about 7 years, I found 5 sets.

I have a set of 9 inch ET70 Cup 2, how rare (or useful) are they? Could they be run on the fronts?

Phil,

No major problems for use on the front- will take a 255 section nicely. They may need additional spacers each side of the steering rack like my wheels to avoid the roll bar/front wheel rubbing.

Use on the rear may require a spacer depending on the model- I think you can get a 275 section on a 9 inch wide 17 inch rim.

I bet those things weigh some compared to stock rims. What are you running on your GTS?

Malcolm,

Was that at minus 40C? Mine measured 38mm but that could have been at plus 40C!
