Looks like your rear fenders were rolled quite a bit by a pro.
I think you're gonna get some disaffected US whiners coming up soon. Sorry(not really), heheheee.
Congrats

Firstly; congratulations! Your shark is among the best handling sports cars available, with reasonably good power!
next: practical stuff:
Docmirror is right. Do not wait to replace the PS hoses if there is no record of them not having been replaced. The high pressure side runs alongside the exhaust manifold. Picture match and gasoline.
Also replace the flex portions of the auto trans lines if they have not been replaced. They run right above the cats and exhaust pipes. Same possibility as above.
Do both of the above as more than most refreshes, these relate to your personal safety. Unlike many 928 refreshes, these are things that any competent shop can do if you don't have the time.

Like Malcolm "The Flyin' Scotsman" who is a long-time guy on this forum.[/QUOTE]
I met him and a couple other guys with S4's, great bunch of guys. It was weird seeing 4 S4's parked side by side. Prior to purchasing one I hadn't seen a 928 in decades.

That's awesome...thanks. I was going to do the fuel lines this winter but now will also do the PS lines also. I knew joining this group would be a good idea!

Nice looker. I would get the TBF checked asap. It can be mitigated if it's out of spec just by prying the shaft and plate back and putting some clamps on there. But - there comes a point when it can't be mitigated anymore. While it's down for TBF check, do the fuel lines and PS pressure line. No more carbeques please.

It hadn't occurred to me that the rear fenders have been rolled. I wonder if it's just the sun's reflection in the photo's?

Great looking "Pure Porsche", every upgrade you do will only enhance the value and driving satisfaction of this iconic machine. Looks like you are utilizing the back seats correctly...
