Hello everyone, a couple months ago I bought my first Porsche a 1988 928 S4. I looked for one for approx. 3 months and found this one in Quebec. I bought it, got in a drove it 3800 kms home in 2 1/2 days. It was a good way to get to know the car. Love this car, best purchase ever!

Well done.
Welcome to the Tank.

Thanks very much. No heated seats, that's ok I have no intention of driving it in the winter. I don't have interior pics at this point. The interior is black and in pretty good shape. I've been repairing/replacing little interior things.
What I know of the car: I'm the 4th owner, originally it was first purchased in Canada. I bought it with 124,000 kms. The timing belt, water pump, tensioner and all drive belts were replaced at 122,000 kms. The car has never been in an accident, never winter driven.

Work I've done to it so far:
- car came with 245 fusions on all 4 tires. Replaced them with proper size.
- wheel alignment
- new rear rotors and pads
- 3 brake pad wear sensors replaced
- final drive fluid replaced
- changed ATF and filter
- fixed drivers power mirror switch
- fixed electric rear hatch release
- replaced fuel filter and spark plugs
- fixing/replacing interior plastic pieces
- cleaned and lubed sunroof tracks
- steam cleaned the interior, it smelled like a 28 year old broom closet.
- new battery
- removed and cleaned fuse box/panel
- cleaned electrical grounds.

The car is an auto and should have crankshaft end play/flex plate tension evaluated and mitigated. See the NEW VISITOR thread up top and read through it all. The subject matter I am referring to is under thrust bearing failure (TBF).

"TBF" Thanks very much, I'll check that this winter while the car is off the road.

I've had my 928 in Calgary a few summers back. I've heard it is tough to get service there but there are few great folks in Southern Alberta that you should make close friends with. Like Malcolm "The Flyin' Scotsman" who is a long-time guy on this forum.
