Are all S4 bumper (ROW or NA market) the same? I'm referring not just the urethane bumper cover but the aluminium bumper too? Also, are the ROW solid bumper mount retrofit able to the bumper shocks use in North America?

The urethane shape is the same but the US version has areas cut out for the rear black (ugly) bumperettes. So if you order/buy a ROW version you would need to make these cuts again, or keep it the way the factory intended and delete those rubber bumpers. Not sure about the aluminum bumper though, but I believe the only difference was the mounting to hydraulic and collapsible shocks versus fixed bumper shocks. Haven't checked the part numbers to see if they are different.

Never viewed them as ugly- just a feature that was dictated by US legislation as I understand- same as the hydraulic shocks.
