Question about engine studs
Does anyone know if 944 cylinder head studs can be used on a 85' 928S? From the pictures they look identical. Maybe I'm missing something?
Does anyone know the part# for these studs in the picture? I can't see to find the part numbers anywhere for them. Any help would be much appreciated.

The 944 stud is different. shorter on the engine side I believe. Not sure about interchangeability.
Not much help on the other studs, other than they don't show serviceable thru Porsche

I sold a complete set of lower block studs to someone in the PACNW group a few years ago, they are getting scarce... the only good source would be someone who has scrapped a 928 block from Thrust Bearing Failure and the block is no longer good or repairable. I would contact Roger or 928 International.
