Amsoil Q

Amsoil Q
Very simple Q with no intention of starting another oil discussion. I'm getting ready to do my annual oil change and plan to switch from Mobil 1 15W50 to Amsoil 20W50 as the price difference isn't that great and my local Walmart no longer stocks the Mobil 1 on the shelf so I have to order anyway. Kibort's endorsement of this oil has convinced me.
When I order the Amsoil, should I get the regular 20W50 or the Air Cooled Motorcycle 20W50. I know 928's aren't air cooled motorcycles, but you never know what's best. Thanks,
Steve

I use the racing 15-20, but there is a normal 2050 street oil too. Jim B was saying the street oil 20-50 is not made from the same stuff and i have No idea about the motorcycle oil.
Jim??
obviously, the racing oil is good stuff, no question there. however, it lacks the detergents that the street oil has for long change intervals, but if you are changing it out once a year, i think its fine. i change mine now, about once every 6 months but that's a lot of racing hours, and not much street miles.

I would never run a no-detergent racing oil in a street car.
No need to complicate things, use the whichever one is labelled for street cars in the viscosity you need.

Found a comparison straight from AMSOil:
https://www.amsoil.com/techservicesb...t%20Tappet.pdf
ZDDP
Z-Rod: 1320 / 1440 ppm
Premium: 1266 / 1379 ppm
AMSOIL Z-ROD® 10W-30 (ZRT) and 20W-50 (ZRF) Synthetic Motor Oils are formulated with high zinc and phosphorus
levels to provide superior protection in gasoline engines with flat-tappet camshafts. Z-ROD also contains
high levels of rust and corrosion inhibitors for maximum protection during long periods of storage.
AMSOIL Premium Protection 10W-40 (AMO) and 20W-50 (ARO) Synthetic Motor Oils are formulated with high zinc
and phosphorus levels to provide outstanding protection in both gasoline (SL) and diesel (CI-4 Plus) applications.
They are an outstanding choice where high zinc-containing protection is required, such as late-model hot rods that
require extra camshaft protection
