I'm confused, which makes it so much easier to confuse others
I don't see any similar holes on the drivers side, but I do see some holes on the "parking brake box cover" for RHD models. Any idea what this is for?

If memory serves one of the holes on the passenger side is used to reset a warning light, possibly OXS? As earlier noted, the rear deck release was not available on the 82; my US model has only a fader on the passenger side.

Dick is correct. The oxygen sensor reset is under that cover. The holes are normal. Nothing is missing, they are there for ventilation. I believe some years had an optional amp there as well.

I previously posted a pic (post #20) regarding the holes next to the parking brake handle. I checked my owner's manual (duh), and saw that there is a single **** for the fader here. I'll have to look inside to see if it's stil there...I already got the **** from 928Intl.
I forgot to add a picture to post #25, which I am posting below. Maybe a PO tried to upgrade his car to add a hatch release? If this is not a motor for the hatch release, can someone tell me what it is?

interior cleaning - carpet shampoo
Gave my carpets a good shampoo the other day....they look and feel like they're only a few years old!
Should have used a bigger machine - this is as full as the tank gets, so I had to empty it about 20 times

Cool Ronn - did you notice that the Hemmings magazine in your post above has my Blumaxx on the cover and a full spread inside?
