Underneath and between the exhaust headers and the head. Only accessible from the underside of the car. Look for a connector going up to the fitting on the head near the exh exit. One per side.

Yep they connect via wire harness to Black rubber round pull a-parts like the ones used in the Outside Air Temp sensor the connections are located at the back of the heads between the eng and Firewall.
