Default Installing a new oil pressure sensor

Just wondering if anything is required for the threads, such as teflon tape or a thin skim of permatex, or do the threads seat adequately to assure no leaks and good contact with the block? thanks again

Isn't there a sealing washer on the sensor? Just tighten it up and you will be fine nothing is needed on the threads.

They often leak a bit, but I've never read of anybody using an extra preventative measure. Here are all the bits, I just happened to take a photo last time I fixed mine....

FWIW, mine no longer leaks, no tape etc on the threads.
