Memory seat switch for Passenger seat
Hi,
I had a vibration coming from the right door , so i removed the panel, and found that crossover filter bolts were loose. The Interesting thing is that i found the connector for the Passenger seat memory switch hanging. If i can get the proper switch, then I have memories for right passenger seat, also? Is it a plug and play job? Thank you

Thank you. Dunno if i have To look for a second control unit or other Electronic modules... I will have a look. Cars with doble memory seats are so rare (sticker under luggage carpet tell memory only on drivers side) i cannot find documents about them. Thank you.

Late cars are wired for both - but it only works if you have memory equipped seats - if you did you'd already have the switch - it's pretty certain.. However if you can find memory seats & the switch...?

Ok, pulled right seat, there's a plug "hanging" under the seat, with the same wires colours. I think Wiring loom for doors is the same for rhd and lhd cars.

As already said unless your seats have the "positrol" (memory) electronics and pots it will not work.

Just a question about my old thread. Can a non positrol seat be converted to positrol simply adding an ecu and a memory switch, or the seat loom and connectors are different? Thx.

It is very different - the seat drive gearboxes need feedback potentiometers for the position on every motor, a substantially different seat loom. Not really practical as a retrofit. Easier to swap your seat covers over onto an existing memory seat.
