Default 928 Custom Sun Shade reflectors

I remember way back seeing some Custom Silver Sun Reflectors for every single window on the 928 when you are parking out in the open sun. I can't recall if it was on Nicole's site? Any idea if anyone carries these? Thanks in advance! The sun was brutally wicked this week. I don't want to get my first dash crack!

Yes, I used to sell them.

You can still get them at https://www.heatshieldstore.com/

http://smartcarcover.com/

I got one of these a while back and liked it. Then I got a garage that fit my cars and I retired, so I stopped needing it so much. I still like it.

Do you like it enough to recommend it? I'm interested in the design.

Jase,

I believe I still have a full set (includes rear quarter Windows) that I bought when Nicole had them. I rarely had a need to use them, so they are like new. If you are still looking for a set I will go find mine and sell them for a lot less than the $120 the heat shield store is selling them for.

Let me know!

Aww, thanks hernanca, but I ordered them right away. Thanks very much for the thought!

Ah, well - no worries. At least you reminded me of one more thing I can get rid of as part of my ongoing Spring cleaning.

That seems like simpler, quicker alternative to the Heatshields with complete occlusion (the Heastshields miss a few per cent). Durability would be my only question. I've never found a car cover material that held up more than a few seasons outdoors. Heatshields material seem indestructible.

Also, the Smartcover looks like once size fits all. How well does it cover the hatch glass?

I did get to sell mine after all. For posterity, below are the pics of what the HEATSHIELDs look like:

Same problem with any outdoor car cover - what do you do with it when it's soaking wet?

Under what circumstances would your interior heatshields get soaking wet? Regardless - I'd say just leave 'em out in the sun for a little while to dry out if they do get wet.
