Hi Manfred,

Don't know if you were planning to do this, but while you are here, you should replace the rivets of the rear flex plate with bolts. There is a Porsche TB about this procedure and it will save you a big headache later.




Good luck with the transmission refurbish. I was present through the whole tear down and refurbish of mine a few years ago and it was quite a journey. Lots of parts and pieces in there. We also did the "hidden seal" which isn't normally done since you have to drill out rivets to get to it.

Thanks for that tip! Where can I find that Porsche TB?
I think the guys overhauling my transmission will be open for that idea....!
